NOTD - Essie Watermelon

Whenever I buy a new polish I just need to try it out right away. This time I waited a bit cause i had a few to try out before this one ^^ But today was the time for Essies Watermelon. SO beautiful! I really recommend you check out this colour next time you're out shopping =)

NOTD - Snow Globe sparkle

I'm really missing the snow. By this time last year we had 4ft high snow everywhere and -20c ! Now there's no snow at all =/ I don't miss the really really coldness of last winter but I miss the snow. I want a winter wonderland ^^

So in the spirit of missing the snow I painted my nails white and covered that with a beautiful glitter from China Glaze called Snow Globe =)

Now the sparkles are a bit pastelly for looking like snow that sparkles but it's still very pretty and it makes me feel happy and festive =)

NOTD - Depend nr 115 + lilac glitter

So for my birthday i got a few of the mini polishes from Depend ( a nailbrand here in Sweden ) from a friend. I got a really cool bright mint green, a very bright coral red, a white nailart polish (with a very fine brush) and this dark purple colour.

Now since it's winter (even though the snow hasn't come yet) I decided that the purple one was the one to go for first. I love this purple. It's dark but you can still see that it is a purple and not a black. i have a few dark purples that are so so dark that if you're not in direct sunlight they look black. So I absolutely love this colour. And of course I couldn't resist using som glitter on my ring fingers ;P I went for a lilac one that I think looks great with the polish =)

NOTD - MAC Soirée

I love this colour. It's such a beautiful rose gold with the prettiest metallic finish. It only takes one coat for it to be opaque and it dries super quickly.. For it to last long on the nails it's safest with 2 coats and a top coat..

Unfortunately this is a limited edition colour fron MAC's Champale collection. I have seen a very similar colour from Orly though.. Can't remember the name but I bet if you google Orly and Rose gold polish you will find it =) 

NOTD - China Glaze Ruby Pumps + glitter

The perfect holiday polish will forever be China Glaze's Ruby Pumps. It's the perfect red sparkly colour that really makes you feel that holiday spirit. Of course I couldn't help myself from covering my rngfingers with som red glitter but it actually didn't make that much of a difference to the other nails.. hmm anyways my nails are still pretty =)

shows in pictures and not IRL ;P)

The glitter only shows up (barely) in the picture without flash (the right one) and in surtain lights irl. I guess the colour was to close of a match with the polish ^^

NOTD - O.P.I Blue my mind + Glitter Michigan

I've been completely obsessed with blues and glitters lately so today I went Aaall in hehe =) One of my Favorite royal blues is O.P.Is Blue my mind, it's sooo pretty. The only negative thing about it is that it's a bit sheer so you need 3 layers =/ It's a really old colour so the formula wasn't as great as O.P.I polishes today I guess (I have a few others from that time that I have the same problem with)..

Anyways, I used Emite Glitter in Michigan (my makeup school's glitter) on my ringfingers to ad some sparkle =)

I just love the look of deep royal blue on my (and anyones) nails, soooo pretty!

NOTD - Reflects Pearl Glitter

I've gotten more and more into glitter nails recently, it's so easy and fun and I actually get to use my many loose glitters =) One glitter I'm particularly in love with atm is MACs Reflects Pearl. It's a gorgeous white/pearl glitter, very finely milled and looks awesome on the nails. Because it is so finely milled it's a lot easier to work with than other glitters I think (at least on the nails).

When you use it on the nails it really creates a clean sofisticated look but still fun as it softly sparkles. I love this look and if you have Reflects Pearl inyour collection  really suggest you try it out on your nails =)

Back! - With a NOTD

So I'm back from a kinda' long break from everything blog/internet. I've been so so busy and so stressed and on top of it all I was sick for quite som time.

Anyways, I'm back again =) My NOTD is kinda' summery but I really don't follow the seasons trends with nailpolish ^^

H&M Light Blue & China Glaze Solar Flare as an accent on my ringfingers..

I've been really enjoying using Solar Flare as an accent on my ringfingers with whatever colour I'm wearing, Pinks Blues Greens Reds.. Gold goes with everything =)

NOTD - OPI Flashbulb Fuchsia

So I wanted to paint my nails today after I cleaned the apartment.. You know, to relax myself and feel a bit more pretty (I usually feel quite disgusting after cleaning haha) but I had no idea of what colour I wanted.. So when I looked in my collection I found an old fave of mine, a bright bright fuchsia pink with some blue shimmer.. I haven't used it in probably a year so I though it was time now =)

Isn't it pretty?? It looks a little softer in the picture than it does in real life though =)

NOTD - H&M Light Blue

FINALLY !! I got my camrea to work again, BY pushing a button haha.. Anyways, since I'm not feeling well atm I thought I would give you my NOTD =)

w/o flash vs. with flash =)

I LOVE this light blue colour it's so pretty! The picture w/o flash is the most true to colour.
I've never ever had a just plain light blue nail polish but I found this one in a little kit of four mini polishes at H&M called Summer Nails. It had a light blue, a coral, a pale yellow and a mint green.. Really nice!

NOTD - MAC Mischievous Mint + polka dots

So first of all... I've hit the 100 follower "milestone" =) Thank you all of you! I've tried blogging so many times before but never really enjoyed it as much as I do now.. I'm really loving it =) I probably wouldn't as much if I didn't get as much nice feedback as I've been getting from you guys so thank you =)

Anyways.. On to my NOTD =)

This is one of my fave colours of all time allready and I've only had it for a few months.. But I was bored yesterday so i decided to do something a little extra with my nails but nothing too hard or extravagant =) So i decided to do polka dots on my ring fingers.. It's sooo easy to do.. just take a hair pin/tooth pick something small and pointy, and then pick up some polish and dot away =)

NOTD - O.P.I Koala Bear-y

So I'm tge kinda' girl that quickly gets bored of my nails after wearing the same polish for about 3 days.. So off with the french manicure and on with the berry pink Koala Bear-y as my lovely man finally managed to open the bottle (it has been stuck ever sooo long)..

How to do perfect French manicure nails at home!

1. Apply a basecoat to protects your nails from discolouring
and the glue from the tejp sticking on to you actual nails.

2. Take a piece of tape and use it to trace you "nail-tip-line".

3. Now paint your white colour on your tips,
as messy as you like =)

4. When it's dried a little bit (not all the way) remove the tape.

5. When the white polish har dried all the way, use a sheer
nude/pink colour and paint a layer of that right over the entire nail.
I used a sheer shimmery pink. O.P.I Princess.

6. Finish with a top coat and you're all done =)

MAC Nail Lacquer - Mischievous Mint

Finally Blogger works again!! I've wanted to show you this the last coupple of days!

MACs Nail Lacquer in Mischievous Mint, is a really cool pastelly mint color, I LOVE IT!

I don't remember  what the collection is called but it's the colorfull "asian one" ? :/

The polish is creamy,covers and holds up nicely with 2 coats. Awesome polish! MAC has really stepped it up with their polishes.. Not that I own a lot of them but I've heard some not so good things and my first polish was great but didn't hold up well, completely different story now ^^

The lavender color from the new collection from  MAC I immediately just had to have.. It's gorgeous!!

NOTD - OPI You don't know Jaques

So I'm super buzy at work right now (I'm a graphic designer at our family´s pr company - Yes! I know "Why don't I have a nicer design on my blog?" 'Cause when I come home I'm not really in the mood to design..) so I don't have much time to do my makup in the mornings, it has come to foundation & powder & blush & mascara !! hehe =) but in the evenings I have now started switching up my nailpolish, to get SOME variation ^^

This evening the choice fell on OPIs You don't know Jaques!

A gorgeous greyish mud colour.. 2 coats of this and you'r good to go! =)

OH And I forgot to tell ya'll!! I cut my hair, I cut HALF off!! I will show you when I have the time to do a proper make up to really do justice to the haircut ^^

NOTD - Estée Lauder 88 Amethyst

I had to remove my failed cherry blossoms ^^ SoI decided to paint my nails in a really old colour from Estee Lauder.. A gorgeous rosy brown!

A few days ago MissChievous on youtube made a tutorial on beautiful cherry blossom nails.. I tried it and it didn't end up as pretty ^^ hehe

NOTD: Illamasqua Jan

I was bored so I painted my nails with my favorite plummy pink colour Jan from Illamasqua. I also put some flower rhinestones on to make them more fun =)
