What to wear on a roadtrip??

Hi guys! How was your weekend?? Mine was awesome. I went on a roadtrip to see one of my best friends in an other city, 2 hours from Stockholm. We had a blast!

But before I went I thought what should I wear makeup wise when I'm gonna be in a car for 2 hours but I still wanna look fresh and put together when I arrive so I wont have to worry about when I don't wanna worry about it (does that make sense? I feel like that was a looong sentence hehe).

So I did what I always do when I want to look nice but not overdone, and I want to share that with you =)

This is what I looked like:

This is what I did:

- First I put on my Garnier tinted eye roll-on under my eyes and blended that out.

- Then I mixed some foundation (Chanel Pro Lumiere) with some primer (Benefit The POREfessional) in my hands and just applied it as I would a moitsurizer. Gives coverage but not too much and the primer makes it last longer than if you would've mixed the foundation with a moisturizer. 

- After that I just swiped a little powder (Too Faced primed&poreless) on my T-zone and nowhere else.

- I put bronzer (NARS Laguna) and blush (MAC Springsheen) on as usual, just not as heavy. 

- Then I just finshed off my look with some mascara (Max Factor 2000 Calorie) and filled in my brows just a tiny bit (Isadora Eyebrow pencil Light Brown), and last but not least some tinted lip balm (ACO soft red lip balm).

It's the quickest easiest way to look put together without looking overdone =)

FOTD - Rose gold eyes with rosy cheeks + lips

So yesterday we went to a friend's birthday party and I really wanted to use my new Benefit Bene Tint cheek and lip stain. So I figured why not go with some rose gold eyes to match with the pink flush that Bene Tint gives. I love the look of dollish eyes, cheeks and lips so that's kinda' the look I was going for. And I loved how it turned out. Very simple yet very classic and different in a way.. Hope you like it =)

Unfortunately I couldn't seem to get a better picure than this one shown. I tried and tried and tried but then we had to leave and  just had to settle with this one. Anyways...

Just a little Haul..

So this month I'm on a very strict budget so I can save as much as possible. Hopefully for a round the world trip =) But, I've let myself spend a surtain amount on whatever I want and I went for an oldie but goodie and 2 completely new products for me.

First we have my fave silk serum - L´anza' Healing strength silk serum. It was on a 30% off sale and mine that I use now is almost completely gone so I just couldn't pass up on it..

Then, just beacause I'm curious and I actually don't like MAC Fix+ all that much (it does nothing else but  take away the cakyness) I went for the Urban Decay All nighter setting spray. I've heard so many great things about this setting spray I had to try it. It's also my first ever Urban Decay product hehe =)

Then, because I'm a huuuge fan of Too Faced's Primed & Poreless primer when it now was time for a new powder (my MSFN is almost gone, and it's too heavy in winter) I thought that maybe I'll like the powder as much as I like the primer. So I went for the Primed & Poreless powder =)

Now this is it for shopping this month hehe.. I only have money for food left in my budget now so any other shopping will have to wait til next payday..

What I will bring in my Kit for a 70's country inspired shoot...

I love watching these kind of videos or reading these kind of posts so wen I packed my Kit for tomorrows shoot I wanted to show you what I'll bring with me =) Prepare for a LOOOOONG post and picture bonanza!! ^^

Since we haven't decided on how many different makeup looks we wanna do I'll bring all eyeshadows/blushes/eyeliners I can think of that fits into the category.. That way, I won't fall short =)

Too Faced Eye Love Palette look - Smokey eye

Next look up is the smokey eye from the Too Faced Eye Love Palette.. I did it just as they show how to do it in the palette....

Now it looks pretty nice in the pictures but imagine the silver being completely metallic and 10 times more opaque - then you'll see the look as in real life.. This look makes me look like a pornstar and I'm not a fan of that look hehe.. This look would however be great on a dragqueen, over the top and feminine.. 

I love the black and the silver in the palette but they say to sweep the silver from the inner lid and up on the browbone - I tried it and didn't like it - would be prettier to just keep the silver on the inner lid and the black as it is and then use a matte highlighter instead...

June Favourites..

It's that time again! The time goes by soooo fast it's crazy.. Anyways here's my favourites for the month of June. It's only 4 products, only because the blush, bronzer and tinted moisturizer are the same faves as  last month and the month before that so I saw no meaning in posting yet another picture of them =)

Too faced Eye Love Palette - I've been using this non stop since I got it not long ago. I've especially loved  "Satin Sheets" as a inner corner highlight, it's gorgeous!!
Elizabeth Arden Eight hour cream - Been using this on my lips, amazing to say the least..
Clinique All About Eyes Serum - Just a really cooling nice serum, been enjoying this as a perk me up =)
MAD Minerals Indelible cream shadow in Nude frost (dupe for Bare study by MAC) - Great waterproof cream shadow. Been using it as an extra base for eyeshadow. Gives a really nice sheen..

I also been using (as always) NARS Deep throat blush and Laguna bronzer. Origins VitaZing moisturizer. MAC prep+prime powder and studio finish concealer.. =)

What's in my Make up bag..

This weekend we wnt to my mom's house to celebrate midsummer and, as it turned out an engagement between my best friend/cousin and John's best friend.. So happy for them!! =) Anyways, as we stayed over the weekend I brought my Makeup bag, and so I thought I would show you what I take with me when going away for a few days =)

This is the makeup bag I use. It came in a kit with sunscreen stuff from Clinique. It's the perfect size and it's pretty ^^

Skincarewise I brought: EA Eight hour cream, + Eight hour cream sun defence stick spf50, Origins Vita Zing, Natuvive Eye gel.. My mom uses the same toner and cleanser so I never bring mine when I go to her's ^^ When I go elsewhere I would bring my travelsize cleanser & toner + a moisturizer to use at night =)

Face makeup: NARS laguna bronzer, Deep throat blush, Sheer glow foundation.. MAC prpe+prime powder, studio finish concealer.. The body Shop Matte primer, Vitamine E face mist (travel spray bottle).. Dior Amber diamond highlighter

Too Faced Eye Love Palette Look - Natural eye

Hello Hi Good Morning to ya'll!! ^^

It's pouring down outside, so I'm working from home today =) While my computer was acting up on me I decided to take a break and do my eyes according to how the Eye Love palette say you can do it. I thought I would go in order and do all of them, so first up is the Natural eye with Heaven & Push-Up =)

I USED: Heaven - inner part of lid & inner corner & up on the browbone, Push-Up- outer corner/crease & under eyes, Max Factor 2000 calorie mascara, Viva La Diva Brow mix trio shadow. I was too lazy to use a primer ^^

Even though Heaven barely shows up on me it actually turned out really nice! Simple everyday look and very flattering on blue eyes as Push-Up is a Rosy bronze that enhances blue colours =)

Too Faced Eye Love Palette! A GREAT alternative..

So when this came to me today I was so jumping up and down ^^ As it is hard for me to get a hold UD Naked Palette (and for others) I thought this would be a great alternative, cuz you get 8 completely wearable nice colours in one palette for £24! I bought mine at ASOS..

This is how it comes in package:

I the Eye Love palette Too Faced has put 2 shadows from each of their other so so popular palettes (Natural eye kit, Romantic eye kit, Naked eye kit and Smokey eye kit) together in ONE sleek little palette.. It also comes with a travel Shadow Insurance primer =) So it has ALL you need without being big and bulky (like the original palettes are)!

I immediately thought of Mac's Copperplate when I saw Like a Virgin, and of Mac's Paint pot Constructivist when I saw Ever After. So I had to compare!! =)

Above is Copperplate and in the middle is Like a Virgin- Now they don't look as identical as they do irl but trust me, they're exact!! Maybe Like a Virgin has a tiny bit more of a satin finish, and that's maybe why it's showing up a bit more grey..

To the right is Ever after with Constructivist in the end- So basically Ever After is the shimmery shadow version of Constructivist ^^

First impressions:
Seriously a great palette! Has all the colours I would need when going away, no matter for how long, and the shadows are highly pigmented and stays on (I think) cuz I really had to rub my arm 4 times with soap and water  before it all came off!! So satyingpower made a great first impression hehe. Also I don't own the UD Naked palette and I think now that I have this palette I won't get it even if I could =) I however wish that Heaven was more like Mac's Vanilla, cuz it barely shows up on me as you can see in the swatches =/ But hey maybe with a white eyeliner I could get by with it as a highlighter ^^

Recent buys...

First of all, I haven't bought any makeup in over a month ½ so I'm freakin' proud of myself ^^

Now I needed a new moisurizer and decided to go out of my comfort zone (ORIGINS Balanced diet) and go for La roche Pose as the brand has been raved about so much. I also needed a new volumizing/matifying hair powder and found a cheaper alternative to OSIS+ Dustit.. OK I didn't neeeeed the last product but I've been eyeing it so long now that I just couldn't resist!

Too Faced Eye Love Palette- Really wanted to see if it could be a good alternative to the NAKED Palette as it is hard to get a hold of =)
La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Moisturizer, - It's supposed to keep your oils in control and also work great as a Makeup base..
Swartzkopf got2b volumizing styling powder- Well a good matifying and volumizing powder is just what you need a lazy day when your too tired to wash your hair or just don't have time to =)
