So the following days I will post about my best products of 2011 - beautywise of course =)

I will devide them into Skincare - Makeup - Haircare - Body & other, so that you won't have to read a massive all in one ^^ So here my skincare faves for this year:

Holiday gift ideas - Skincare for him (or her) with oily skin!

Maybe you've got a friend, brother/sister or a cousin that really doesn't know how to take care of their skin. Maybe they even have som acne problems and still doesn't know how to deal (let's face it most of us that has acne prone skin do everything we can to make the skin looking nice so they probably do know something) with it..

Here are a few products that I swear by that would make great gifts for him and her =)

The Body Shop Tea tree face mask - I absolutely love this product! Whenever I have a breakout I use this and the next it's all cleared up. It's really a mirace worker. It is very strong so you use either once a week (if you break out quite often) or when you get a breakout (like me). You put this on your clean face for 10 minutes and then wash it off, use a toner and then your moisturizer. I gave a sample of this to a friend who has a boyfriend with acen, and he LOVED it so he went and bought the full size tub =)

TBS Tea Tree skin clearing toner - A lot of people don't use toner and I have noo idea why. A toner is absolutely crucial to get your skin clean and clear. A toner removes the bakteria and other stuff that your cleanser missed, it also cleans your pores better than just a cleanser. You should use a toner everyday before you moisturize so that you don't make the misstake of "locking" in the excess bakteria and dirt when you use your moisturizer. Maybe if you have dry skin you can get by without a toner but if you have combination/oily skin you must use one. it will really make a difference. This particular toner helped me clear up my skin in just a few months and now I use the seaweed one cuz it's more gentle. but when ever my skin freaks out I need this toner!

TBS Seaweed mattifying day cream - Moisturizing is key for keeping breakouts and spots away. Many makes the mistake of drying out the skin but that will only trick the skin into thinking it need to produce more oil. So you see the problem there! A moisturizer that does exactly that- moisturize, and keeps the oils away is what you need. this one is a great one, it sinks into the skin quickly but still moisturizes your skin throughout the day and yet it manages to keep oils away. I use this one when I need to save some money and can't go buy my beloved Origins Balanced diet, and it works really great!

I think these three products would make a great gift for someone who needs a little help with the skincare. It's not too expensive but still great quality products!

Fall/November Favorites..

The Body Shop Candied Ginger home fragerance oil, Body butter AND shower gel - Such a beautiful sweet and sour and christmasy and all that yummyness you want in a scent! I'm completely obsessed!!

Loose glitters (for nails mostly) and particularly MAC's Reflects pearl (on top of the stack in a sample jar)- It's so much fun with glitters on the nails. Try it if you haven't!

Christina Aguilera perfume "by Night" - I had forgotten that I had this in my perfume collection but since my CLEAN outdoor shower fresh ran out I needed a new fave atm and this one is just so nice and warm, sweet but sofisticated but not too sofisticated lika an old lady perfume. It's just perfect for fall/winter =)

MAC Constructivist paint pot - This is the perfect base for a brown smokey eye (what I've been going for atm), perfect underneath Mulch e/s. this is a staple cream shadow EVERYONE should have!

Ge liner (any gel liner really) atm MAC's Blitz & Glitz - I've just been enjoying the classic winged liner a lot this fall/november, so easy and pretty..

MAC eyeshadows in Mulch and Embark - Much is that perfect all over brown smokey eye colour (medium/darker brown with golden shimmer) and Embark is that perfect everyday definition eyeshadow (matte dark brown with red/warm tones to it) especially for blue and green eyes as the red tones in the shadow really make the eyes pop.. These two shadows are also staples EVERYONE should own ;P

My lovely bf came home with a gift..

Sometimes my boyfriend John comes home with a gift for me. He can't help it he's just built that way. Sometimes it's flowers and sometimes it's makeup and this time it was bodycare..

He had a dj job at a cruise this past weekend and those cruises have duty free shops. Naturally John couldn't help but buying a few things =)

As you can se John got me some The Body Shop products. I LOVE TBS...

I got two of the new "Earth lovers" shower gels - Apricot / Basil and Cucumber / Mint. And I got a lovely set of mini boby butters. I love having the mini versions of the body butters, they are so handy to keep in your purse to use on your hands or where ever you're dry, and the scent always linger a while so you smell good when you've used them =)

This set included my all time favorites Moringa, Coconut and Mango. I'm not to crazy about the Shea one, but my mom loves that one so I might give that one to her =)

August favourites!

Can you guy beleive it's september allready??? I can't, crazy! Anyways September is here and it's time to rally up the August favourites =)

Head & Shoulders Hydrating smooth and silky Shampoo & Conditioner - I have a very sensitive scalp from time to time so I sometimes need a more hydtrating shampoo and conditioner that will help my scalp aswell as my hair. These does he trick. My scalp doesn't feel as dry and sensitive anymore and my hair is silky and soft. It's smells gorgeous aswell =)

The body shop Coconut Body butter - I bet you've all tried this one before and loved it as much as I do. I usually get very sick of the coconut smell during summer, but when summer is almost over I tend to use this just because it is so moisturizing and I feel it's summer just a litlle while longer =)

CLEAN Outdoor shower fresh perfume - Been obsessed with this one the whole month. I just love it!

O.P.I Nail polish Koala Bear-y - This is such an amazing berry pink it's crazy. It has an amazing formula aswell. I can actually get away with just one coat sometimes, but just to be safe I always do 2 coats but still. Formula is amazing =)

Garnier Tinted Eye Roll-on - So easy for those days when you don't have much to do, maybe some grocery shopping or something. I just roll on some under my eyes, dot it all in, finish the skin with some powder and blush and that makes me look so natural and fresh. Love it!

MAC eyeshadow All That Glitters - I've been using it all over the lid those days when I just want a little bit righter eyes. Such an easy colour to wear.

Special Favourite:

Bicycle helmets - A few days ago, a man almost ran me and Balto over but he managed to just in time stear away but the bike went down and he went up in the air flying towards a moving car and he hit the car (on the side) with back of his hed, neck and shoulders. I'm sooo thankful he had a helmet on, his head would be crushed if he didn't. He got away with just a soar shoulder and some scratches on his legs.

So please people, wear a helmet when biking in the city!!

What's in my Make up bag..

This weekend we wnt to my mom's house to celebrate midsummer and, as it turned out an engagement between my best friend/cousin and John's best friend.. So happy for them!! =) Anyways, as we stayed over the weekend I brought my Makeup bag, and so I thought I would show you what I take with me when going away for a few days =)

This is the makeup bag I use. It came in a kit with sunscreen stuff from Clinique. It's the perfect size and it's pretty ^^

Skincarewise I brought: EA Eight hour cream, + Eight hour cream sun defence stick spf50, Origins Vita Zing, Natuvive Eye gel.. My mom uses the same toner and cleanser so I never bring mine when I go to her's ^^ When I go elsewhere I would bring my travelsize cleanser & toner + a moisturizer to use at night =)

Face makeup: NARS laguna bronzer, Deep throat blush, Sheer glow foundation.. MAC prpe+prime powder, studio finish concealer.. The body Shop Matte primer, Vitamine E face mist (travel spray bottle).. Dior Amber diamond highlighter

Eyes: MAD Minerals cream shadow Nude frost (waterproof), Viva La Diva brow shadow trio, Too Faced Eye Love palette, Max Factor 2000 calorie mascara, and my brow razor =)

Kardashian sisters inpired Make up!

I've been working from home a lot this week and so I have been watching "Keeping up with the Kardashians". I've been wanting to do a Kardashian look the entire week now hehe and finally I did =) I hope you like what I did. I always see the sisters in big brown smokey eyes, really pretty, so that's what I wanted to do.

I really liked how this turned out so I hope you guys did too =) I love how the sisters wear their eyeshadows so low under the eyes, but I skipped the false lashes ^^

Review - The Body Shop Peppermint Intensive foot rescue

So by now you've probably figured out that I like The Body Shop a LOT! ^^ When you have a friend that works there it's hard not to get sucked in haha

Anyways! This is a new summerstaple for me!

TBS says:
First aid for feet! Now with grape acids to work even harder to soften hard skin, while you sleep. Provides an overnight moisture serge to target dry cracked heels so you can wake up to softer, smoother skin.

I say: OH YES YES YES! When we walk in our flip flops and ballerina shoes that really don't have any kind of soft base (what's it called?) for our feet our heels tend to get very hard and cracked. Doesn't help when you go in the water aswell. So we need this! I use it when I've taken a bath or shower at night time and scrubbed my feet. When I wake up in the morning my feet feels so much softer and doesn't hurt (cracked heels hurt sometimes!). It feels cooling and the peppermint scent hangs on a while and I love that!

Conclution?

Face of saturday.. Violet Underground

One of my BEST friends came to visit this weekend and we had so much fun all day everyday! We went to see the Pirates of the carribean- On stranger tides. Not worth spending the money at the cinema!! Wait for it to come out and rent it!
We went shopping saturday and at night time we went out =) So I thought I would share some pictures of how we looked saturday night =)

Review - The Body Shop´s Vitamine E Face Mist

I have a friend that's works at The Body Shop and she says she CAN*T live without this product. So she gave me one. (Thank you ^^)

What The Body Shop says:
A quick skin pick-me up and excellent for setting make-up. Spritz it on for instant refreshment, moisture, and protection. With a delicate rosewater scent.


What I say:
It's absolutely a pick-me up, but on the other hand which face mist isn't?? 
It is excellent for setting your make-up. I've found that it actually makes a huge difference on me. I haven't been using it during the last couple of days and my make-up lasted for a good 3 hours less than when I use it, so that's a big + and proof of it actually working. 
The scent is very refreshing aswell =)


Conclution:
Great setting/pick-me up face mist! I can honestly say that it beats the crap out of my MAC Fix+. It's equally great as my Make Up Store Face mist though =)
(I have oily skin)
