FOYD - My highland honey!

Since I didn't have time to upload a FOTD yesterday I'm posting a FOYD (face of yesterday), clever huh? ^^

After using my Deep Throat blush from NARS all throughout January and February I now tend to grab my more peach and coral blushes. Part of it because I've been wearing pink so much and part because maybe I want to match the sun´s warmth with some warmer blushes ^^ hehe I don't know!

I USED
Face: Revlon ColorStay foundation
MAC Moisturecover concealer (under eyes)
MAC Prep&Prime powder
MAC Blush in My highland Honey (LE)
DIOR Amber Diamond shimmer poudre

Eyes: MAC e/s Bronze & Vanilla
Maybelline Falsies Mascara (not a big fan of this one)
Make up Store pencil eyeliner in Vanilla
MAC Browpencil in Lingering

Lips: Nothing as usual hehe

NOTD - OPI William tell me about it

A gorgeous dark dark brown/purple/black!!

A Lush "Pick me up Haul"

I have been sick this past week so I haven't been doing make up or anything really, I've just watched Grey´s Anatomy all day long every day hehe.. But They day before I got sick I wasn't too bad so I went downtown and picked up a few things.. Mostly Lush things ^^

I got: Sexy Peel Soap, Karma Soap, 2 Butterball bathbombs, Think Pink Bathbomb and the Fizzbanger bathbomb..

I've actually never tried any other bathbomb than the Butterball ones before so I thaught it was time for some new descoveries =) The Karma soap is a staple in my bathroom, and the Sexy Peel soap I thaught would be nice now when spring is around the corner with it´s lemony scent =) I also got a sample of the R&B Hair treatment..

Question! - Favorite drugstore/high street foundation??

My answer: Revlon Color Stay foundation for combination/oily skin.. This lasts on me all day and night and gives me perfects coverage when I'm breaking out.. It's sad though cuz I can't get Revlon here in Sweden so now I'm on the look for a new drugstore favorite, maybe one with medium/light coverage but still nice on combination skin.. And I don't want to try any L'oréal cuz I do believe they test on animals =/

That's why I'm asking what's your favorite drugstore/high street foundation?? =)

Taylor Swift - "Our Song" Silver smokey eye look..

I can admit that I'm a sucker for Taylors Swift's corny and witty and beautiful love songs. I wish I had her talent I really do, but some blessed god with other talents, me with make up (I think at least hehe).. So one of my favorite songs of Taylor's is "Our Song", it's just a happy sheerful song and she has a really pretty silver smokey eye in the video that I thaught I would recreate, mainly because I was bored at the moment ^^

My Look:
I USED:
Face: Revlon Color Stay foundation
MAC Studio finish concealer
MAC Prep&Prime powder
NARS Bronzer in Casino
NARS Blush in Deep Throat
DIOR Amber Diamond Higlight

Eyes: MAC Painterly paint pot
NYX Jumbo eyeshadow pencil in Milk
MAC e/s silver ring, vanilla, black tied
VS Beauty Rush shadow in Crystal ball
MAC power khol pencil in Feline
Maybelline eyestudio gelliner in 01black
Maybelline Falsies mascara
MAC Eyebrowpencil in Lingering

Lips: MAC Hue
MAC cremesheen gloss in Fashion Scoop

I really like the way Taylor looks most of the time, she always has a cat eye but I wish she would try something new.. This look is a cat eye, not very blended and light but dark (if that makes sence?).. I like it =) Hope you do to =)

Boots Pharmacy are opening in sweden!!

Now all of you people in the UK are so lucky and you don't even know it.. BUT, me and all other girls here in Stockholm are gonna be just as lucky! Boots Pharmacy are opening a store about 100 m from my apartment!!! I'm so happy! I just hope they sell the same brands and products as they do in the UK.. Cuz if you didn't know brands like Urban Decay, Barry M, Revlon, Burjois and so on, they are really hard to get your hands on here.. most of them you have to order online from the UK..

So I just wanted to share the happy news!! =)

February Favorites!

So here's my february favorites =)

The Body ShopTea Tree Face Mask - I've been breaking out a lot this month and this has really been a savior! (read my review here)
The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream - Just a really great moisturizing eye cream! (read my review in the post below ^^)
ORIGINS Checks & Balances Frothy Face Wash - One of the best cleansers ever! I use it after I've exfoliated my skin to really deep cleanse!
MAC Select cover foundation - this is a really underrated foundation.. It has medium coverage with a nice natural finish AND it doesn't break me out! I know a lot of people have problems with MAC foundations..
Maybelline Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner 24H - Best eyeliner ever! DOES NOT BUDGE!!! (read my review of it here)
Make Up Store Eyeliner in Golddigger - really pretty bronze eyeliner, I've been using it to frame my eye and bring out the blue in them every day (take a look at my FOTD when I'm wearing it)
MAC #109 brush - I've been redescovering this one after using my Sigma F80 to apply my liquid foundation, both of them are awesome!

Review - The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream

I know this is the third review in a row but I've just tried so many nice products lately and I just have to share.. I myself love reading and listening to reviews, they inpire me to try more products or redescover some I allready have and they just might make me not want to try other products.. Perfect! ^^

What they say:
A moisturizing eye cream that helps protect the delicate skin around the eye area, reducing the appearance of fine lines, puffiness, and dark circles, leaving skin feeling soft and smooth. Contains moisturizing shea butter and rose hip oil.

What I say:
First of all when my friend gave me a sample of this I was so unsure of it. I thought it would be too thick an greasy and maybe even break me out as the day cream does. BOY was I wrong! This eye cream is thin you can feel it moisturizing your eye area and it settles very nicely.

I do feel that it has helped my puffiness (I have really bad puffiness when I'm tired and some when I'm not) and that's really something no eye cream has ever done!! My dirk circles is not that bad anymore and my fine lines (yes I have one line under each eye) seams to be less visable.

You don't need much of the cream  to cover your eye area, you just need the tiniest amount, my cream is in a jar so I just very lightly touch the cream with my finger and that's all i need for both eyes. My jar is gonna last me a looooong time!

Conclution:
I really like this! It's moisturizing but not thick and uncomfortable. I think this is very suitable for teens- adults and when you're getting to you early/mid thirties you might want to switch to a more antiageing eye cream.

As I said in my last review: Walk straight to th nearest Body Shop store and ask for a sample! =)
