Color week Fail! =(

So I've failed color week! =( But I have reasons for it though..First - yesterday I fogot my camera when i went to see my family so I couldn't take any pictures of what I wore.. Second - I think I've come done with the flue or something today, I'm just not feeling all that great so make up is not something I'm thinking about..

So color week is incompleted.. Hopefully next time I decide to try it I won't fail ^^ anyways I'm gonna snuggle up on the coutch now!

Favourite online- shopping stores..

As I'm sure a lot of you are I'm also kinda' addicted to online shopping ^^ especially when there's so many great ones out there.. And for me it can be very hard to find a lot of the brands here in sweden so I have to rely on online stores for brands like Urban decay, Benefit, Illamasqua and on and on and on ^^ Also nailpolish is really expensive here so when I want to buy OPI or China Glaze or whatever I can buy it A LOT cheaper online, just to give you an example -> OPI online = around $6 and OPI here in sweden= 130kr=$20.09... It's Crazy!!

So that's why I thaught  I would share some of my favourite online stores with you guys =)

Nails:
Transdesign
This is where i get all of my OPI & China Glaze polishes and they also have Essie and Orly.. For 9 polishes I pay $20 in shipping which means I pay around 9*$6=$54+$20=$74 = 478.78kr.. Instead of 9*130kr=1170kr..  They also have a lot for Nail Artistry =)

Barry M
The british drugstore brand with the awesome nailpaints, as they call them.. Both their make up (dazzle dusts) and nail polish (nail paints) are great!

British High end brand with just great products! large selection of colors and I love their brushes!

Great selection of colors even in foundation.. Great budget mineral make up! =)

Sigma
If anyone of you have missed the sigma train (i bet none of you have but anyways) go and check out their brushes, great brushes for a great price!.. they have a lot of kits, my favourite is the Naughty in Black travel kit, cuz it has every brush you need.. =)

I really liked this look, I felt fresh and clean but still... dressed up and maked up ^^ hehe.. I think I'm gonna go for this look today when I go see my family to celebrate everyone birthdays; my aunt, my best friend/ cousin, my grandpa and his wife all were born in january and february so we celebrate them all together with the whole family! =)

So I went for kinda' sunset colors today with yellow, pink, orange and reddish brown =) It really complements blue eyes, so this is a great look for you with blue eyes. But of course anyone can wear this and it would be beautiful ^^

It looks like I used a ton of different eyeshadows in this look, and well I did, but I mixed some of them to get the exact color I wanted.. I mixed the orange eyeshadow in the NYX trio with the MAC Orange, I mixed the yellow one in the NYX trio with  MAC Ricepaper.. =)

FOTD Color week- Day 2- On the first page of our story, The future seemed so bright

On my birthday this december I got a few Victoria Secret Bauty rush eyeshadows.. One of them was a gorgeous emerald green and I haven't tried it, until today =) First i used MAC eyeshadow Bitter, a limegreen, and over that I used the VS one =) I really liked how it turned out..

I really don't know why I look so shiny in these pictures, my camera must have an off setting or something.. but whatever, I'll bug my boyfriend until he helps me figure it out ^^

My favourite taupe =) It's a creamy really nice polish, you only need 2 coats to cover and it holds up great =)

Primer: Lumene Beauty Base Matifaying primer, it's the best and it's fom the drugstor(don't think you can get it outside of scandinavia though)

Foundation: I have a few ^^ Revlon colorstay, Chanel Mat & Pro lumiere, NARS Sheer glow, MAD Minerals loose minreal foundation..

Concealer: MAC Moisturecover for under my eyes and MAC Studio finish for blemishes and other..

Powder: MAC Prep&Prime is by far the best for setting your foundation, I also really like the Make up Store Loose powders..

Blush: NARS Deep Throat & MAC Peachykeen

Bronzer: NARS Laguna

Highlighter: Dior Amber Diamond

Mascara: L'oreal Voluminous Carbon Black
Eyeshadow: MAC Sable - always use this one when I don't know what to do, it's gorgeous on its own all over the lid, soft brow/purple great for blue eyes. Go get it if you don't have it!! =)

Eyeliner: MAC Feline pencil & MAC Superslick liquid eyeliner

Eyebrows: MAC Lingering, the perfect shade for me

Lipliner: MAC Redd (rarely use lipliner if I'm not wearing red)

Lipstick: MAC Hue, best nude ever (doesn't wipe your lips out ^^)

Lipgloss: MAC Partial to pink Creamsheen glass (if I use lipgloss wich I rarely do)

FOTD Color week- Day 1 - I loose myself in a day dream..

So I didn't have much time today so I went for a classic, a red lip.. Kinda boring but still it is a classic for a reason, it's beautiful  ^^

Color week - Begins tomorrow!!

Ok so, I got this idea from a blog I'm following (and i can't for the life of me find wich one it was, i'm  sorry!) and she did a lipstick week challange, every day she had to wear a different color lipstick in different color categories.. So I thaught that was fun and I wanted to do something similar but different.. SO i decided that a color week would be fun.. Basically I will wear some kind of  brighter color every day for a week, it can be a pink lip, a blue eyeliner, a green eyeshadow, just anything like that.. I'm really exhited =) I hope I'll make it ^^
Maybe someone allready done something like this and I just haven't seen it, but if you liked this idea feel free to jump on the wagon =)

A few things that should help with your skin..

A common problem that many have with their skin is that even though you clean your face every night your skin doesn't clear up.. These tips might help if you have that problem! =) These are things anyone should be doing, no matter skintype!

 First of all make sure you use products that's specially designed for your skintype.. Dry skin needs a bit more oil(sometimes a lot) than combination skin, and oily skin often need no extra oil (doesn't mean you should dry out your skin, drying out your skin only fools your skin to produce more oil)..
Second, after you used a cleanser (gel, cream, mousse whatever) use a face cloth, do not use your towel that you wipe your hands with, it's full of nasty stuff ^^
Third, ALLWAYS use a toner to clean up any makeup particles that wasn't cleansed off with the cleanser, and to prepare your skin for your moisturizer. IF you don't usually do this, DO. If you don't do it your moisturizer will lock in the particles that wasn't cleansed off, and it will do it's damage to the skin .. I can't stress enough how imortant this is! It's also important to wipe your face with a toner in the morning before you put your moisturizer and makeup on. The skin picks upp particles from your pillow and so on during the night..

Now, a brand that I really love is ORIGINS.. Their products are just beautiful and are 100% natural, so you don't need to worry about weird chemicals and so on.. I have combination/oily skin and I use the Origins Balanced diet moisturizer, it's made to keep your oily areas under control but at the same time keep the dry areas moisturized, I use it morning and night.. This really works for me, my skin has never been better, and I suffered from acne when I was a teenager.. If you are unsure of what skintype you have just ask the ladies at the counters (any skincare brand) and they will help you..

Another goodie from the Cham-pale collection that sold out in an instant (no wonder) is the Soirée Nail laquer.. It has a frost finish and a gorgeous pretty opaque color, rosy/gold/champange/bronze with light frost.. I love this color, its lika a more fun but still kind of natural color.. It's similar to  the let me pop paint pot just not as coppery, more champange =)

 

 If your are a fan of the Naked Pigment from MAC this Nail laquer is pretty much the same color, just a little bit less rosy and again more champange =) YES it is as metallic as it looks in the picture to the right =)

MAC Let me pop Paint Pot

When MAC came out with the Cham-pale collection I was so excited to check out the eyeliners and the paint pots. I LOVE paint pots! I was kinda' dissapointed though.. The Paint pots weren't as pigmented and opaque as they usually are, they were more sheer and the colos were not that special.. But I just couldn't help myself falling for the Let Me Pop one ^^ Gorgeous copper/gold/rose/blonze glitter.. Just beautiful!
